The Basement is a professional recording studio located in Sault Ste. Marie, ON. Canada, featuring both
vintage analog and modern digital tools. Music is our passion, we focus on making a big sound in an intimate setting.
Open to all aspiring songwriters located anywhere globally. All you need is a song and the internet !
STUDIO TIME: $45 per hour (Recording Workshop Graduate Engineer incl.)
MIXING: $45 per hour
We can book 2 hour sessions or we can accommodate a bulk package.
We also offer guitar lessons at $35 per hour. Basic to intermediate instruction available.
You can be in the room during the mixing stage or leave it to our recording workshop engineering graduate.
We often collaborate large files using Dropbox with clients located anywhere globally.
All programming is done in house and can be collaborated online. Our experienced engineer adds all details including BBM, count in, high hat variations, crashes, fills and outra grooves.
We usually get it right the1st time, we allow 2 to 3 sessions if needed.
